Recify Software Launches Cloud Web and Mobile Apps for Recreational Market; Surprised by Demand From Non-Profit, Religious and Consignment Markets

Recify Software is a spin-off of a scuba diving company. "As the owner of a Scuba diving manufacturing and training company, we purchased a variety of outside web apps to plug into our website such as a shopping cart, event ticketing, on-line education, rentals, and marketing. This created a fracturing of our data and was time-consuming to integrate," said Andrew Georgitsis, CEO of Recify, Inc. "That's when we decided to build software that provides all the features needed by a recreational business, all unified under one roof."

As Recify prepared for today's product launch, it was surprised by the interest from organizations outside of recreational markets. "Word got out as we updated our website prior to launch. We were focused on the sports and recreation markets, but started hearing from churches, non-profits, and consignment stores. We understand now that they have a very similar pain points as recreational retailers and manufacturers and need product sales, events, classes, on-line education, donations and mobile apps," said Jeff Seckendorf, Recify's president.
After Recify was spun-off as a separate company, the software was rewritten to be a configurable and scalable cloud service that can be integrated into any website or mobile app while maintaining a customer's brand, look, and feel.
Roger Bly, founder of Project.net, joined the leadership team as Director of Product in 2015. "When I joined Recify, I immediately focused on our mobile strategy," said Roger.
