Red Land U.S. Baseball Champions To Be Featured In Hollywood Film

Movie producers launch Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign and announce filming in Pennsylvania

CAMP HILL, Pa., March 24, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Film producers Jameson Hesse and A.J. Ferrara announced today that they plan to make a feature film, entitled AGAINST THE ODDS, about the Red Land boys' baseball team from Lewisberry, PA, (pop. 356) who grabbed the hearts of fans around the globe as they won the 2015 U.S. World Series Championship in Williamsport, PA.

Hollywood film producers Jameson Hesse and A.J. Ferrara announce AGAINST THE ODDS, a film project about the 2015 Red Land United States Championship Team. Producers will use Indiegogo crowdfunding at www.againsttheoddsmovie.com to finance some of the film production.

"Our film, and a supporting documentary, will capture how the Red Land champs brought a community together like we've never seen before," said Producer and Director Jameson Hesse. "We plan to keep this film true to its local roots by shooting the entire movie in Central PA. Plus, we intend to donate a portion of the net profits of AGAINST THE ODDS to Red Land so they can build a new youth baseball complex and inspire future ballplayers to pursue their dreams." Mr. Hesse, who grew up in Lewisberry and played baseball for Red Land, is an L.A.-based filmmaker and author of the acclaimed novel, Whisper of Crows.

Mr. Ferrara, owner of Magic City Pictures, Ft.
