Redknee Addresses Monetizing the Cloud at TM Forum Management World Americas
KEY STRATEGIES PRESENTED ON HOW PROVIDERS CAN DRIVE REVENUE FROM THEIR CLOUD SERVICES
TORONTO, Nov. 3 /PRNewswire/ - Redknee (TSX:RKN), a leading provider of business-critical billing and charging software and solutions for communications service providers, is pleased to
announce that Redknee's CEO, Lucas Skoczkowski, will be joining an expert panel on billing and pricing models in the cloud at TM Forum Management World Americas, held from November 9-11, 2010 in Orlando, Florida.
At the event, Skoczkowski will tackle billing challenges from the provider and the enterprise point of view during a discussion entitled "Billing and Pricing Models in the Cloud". In this presentation, he will address integrated end-to-end billing while maximizing agility and driving down the total cost of ownership for different cloud types. The discussion will also address homogeneous and heterogeneous cloud offerings, including embedded partner usage measurement. Other components will include understanding the requirements for billing in the cloud plus analyzing the different charging models, examining convergence and billing among multiple parameters.
Skoczkowski commented, "The opportunity for service providers to launch profitable cloud services has been obstructed by the complexity of today's business models. During this panel discussion, presenters will distill the key areas that need to be considered in order to develop business models that resonate with the market. Additionally, attendees will come away with the answers to common challenges that are affecting billing in the cloud today: What is the basis for billing and what is the billable unit. At Redknee, we continue to invest in real-time billing and customer care solutions to support the growth of mobile and broadband data and content for wireless and non-wireless subscribers around the world."
As Redknee's founder, Lucas Skoczkowski has been directing the execution of Redknee's business activities and corporate operations since 1999. He has led the development of the company's product portfolio and a global organization of exceptional talent resulting in continuous growth and a strong recurring revenue stream.
"Billing and Pricing Models in the Cloud" will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2010, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
