New collaboration will enable access to Regard's Proactive Documentation platform for hospitals using Microsoft Dragon Copilot
Integration will combine Dragon Copilot's trusted voice dictation and ambient listening capabilities with Regard's ability to review all EHR data and surface diagnostic insights, in real-time
NEW YORK, Oct. 16, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Regard, the leading Proactive Documentation platform that reviews all data in the electronic health record (EHR) to recommend diagnoses, today announced a collaboration to integrate its platform with Microsoft Dragon Copilot, an AI clinical assistant. The integration will enable broad access to Regard's capabilities for surfacing diagnostic insights and critical clinical context in real-time from EHR data, combined with Dragon Copilot's natural language, ambient, and generative AI capabilities.
Currently deployed across more than 150 hospitals, Regard's Proactive Documentation platform will reach an even broader network through Dragon Copilot, which will seamlessly integrate third-party AI apps and agents that empower clinicians to utilize essential tools within their everyday workflows. Dragon Copilot will offer health systems a streamlined way to use the clinical insights enabled by the Regard platform in their current workflows, to provide the best possible care.
"Dragon Copilot powers clinician workflows where voice is central, while Regard delivers its greatest impact where deeper data analysis is needed to drive care decisions," said Nate Wilson, co-founder and president at Regard. "By combining our deep data capabilities with Dragon Copilot's workflow that's hugely popular among clinical professionals, we're making it possible to meaningfully leverage data from the chart and clinician-patient conversations to improve diagnosis and treatment – ultimately enabling better care, lowering burden and generating accurate documentation."
Through this collaboration, health systems will have access to Regard's Proactive Documentation platform directly through Dragon Copilot with click-to-deploy simplicity. Hospitals using Regard can expect not only improved patient outcomes, but also meaningful financial impact and reduce claims denials through better documentation. In the last year, Regard's technology has helped materially improve comorbid conditions (CC) and major comorbid conditions (MCC) capture, recommended over 9M diagnoses accepted by clinicians and unlocked more than $100M in earned revenue for health system customers.
"At Microsoft, we're leveraging AI to help make health better for every patient, provider, and population on the planet through strategic collaborations, responsible innovation, and deep commitment to the human side of healthcare," said Peter Durlach, CVP, Chief Strategy Officer, Microsoft Health and Life Sciences. "By enabling the integration of Regard's Proactive Documentation solution into Dragon Copilot, we will arm our healthcare provider organizations and their clinicians with easy access to a powerful tool that surfaces diagnostic insights and critical clinical context in real-time."
