RelaDyne Enhances Partnership With Mansfield Oil to Distribute Diesel Exhaust Fluid in Key Texas Markets

CINCINNATI, March 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- RelaDyne, Inc., the equipment reliability management company launched in November 2010, announced today it has strategically expanded its U.S. marketing and distribution partnership with Mansfield Oil of Gainesville, Ga. to provide diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) to customers in key Texas markets. Following a successful DEF seminar last month in Houston, Texas - where 150 fleet owners/operators gathered to receive the latest industry news - RelaDyne and Mansfield have expanded their geographical reach into Houston and East Texas areas. Houston is quickly proving to be one of the nation's largest markets for DEF; and RelaDyne, through its strategic partnership with Mansfield, is poised to create a noteworthy presence in the region.

The most recent federal Clean Air Act specifications requiring stricter emissions standards for commercial and passenger automobiles have dramatically increased demand for DEF in the U.S. where volumes have nearly doubled each month since fourth quarter 2010.  RelaDyne CEO Larry Stoddard stated that with expansion beyond the Illinois, Ohio and Louisiana markets, his company now provides DEF to customers in five of the top eight states with the highest demand.

"In the U.S., an estimated four billion gallons of lubricants and related products are currently sold each year.  Sales of DEF will soon increase the total volume of products sold in the industry up to 30 percent annually."

According to Stoddard, customers most interested in DEF products and services include vehicle lubrication centers, auto repair centers, automotive retailers, gas stations, truck stops, vehicle fleets, and OEM truck dealers.
