Remember Joe The Plumber? Meet Larry The Orthodontist Who Has Coined The Phrase "OH REALLY"!

BOCA RATON, Fla., June 20, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Dr. Larry Kawa, a Boca Raton, Florida Orthodontist has had enough and he is putting his money where his mouth is when it comes to talking about fiscal conservatism and minority outreach in the Republican Party.  This rising star, who was recently interviewed on the Fox Business Network by Neil Cavuto hosted the first ever, "State of the Nation" Dinner at the Embassy Suites Hotel in an attempt to reach out to the Black community of South Florida. Larry the Orthodontist has no political ambitions and he did not ask for contributions for this dinner. He actually turned down offers to help underwrite it.  Larry the Orthodontist is the sole Republican doing what others have suggested but have failed to follow through on by reaching across party lines to minorities.

When asked why he was reaching out to the Black community, Larry the Orthodontist stated, "Many of my friends and patients are black. They feel disconnected to the political process and I feel that it's important that everyone be involved. Our system is broken and the only way to fix it is for everyone to understand exactly what the problem is and how fiscal conservatism is the path to a better life for all."

Over 450 guests, many of whom were provided transportation to the event from their churches, enjoyed a complimentary dinner and heard remarks from RNC Chairman Michael Steele, National Spokesman for the Congress of Racial Equality, Niger Innis, Best Selling Author Kevin Jackson and former Florida Lt. Governor Jennifer Carroll.

The highlight of the evening was the keynote address by Larry the Orthodontist where he used solid facts and real math to explain the fiscal irresponsibility that is taking place in Washington. In a mock video debate with President Obama, Larry the Orthodontist used the Presidents own words comparing his campaign pledges with what is actually being done by his administration. Due to the success of the "State of the Nation" Dinner, planning is already underway for continued outreach to the Black community. Later this summer, Larry the Orthodontist will be hosting another event for over 1,000 members of the International Longshoreman's Association, a division of the AFL-CIO to explain to them that fiscal conservatism is right for them too.
