Remnants of the Past Antique & Vintage Show Moves to San Jose, California

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif., May 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- As a special guest at the last show, Rachel Ashwell notes Remnants as one of her "Favorite Five" flea markets in the world, and now Remnants of the Past Antique & Vintage Show (www.RemnantsOfThePast.com) is moving to San Jose, California. The next show, scheduled for the weekend of June 28-29, 2014, will take place at Santa Clara County Fairgrounds.

Named "Best Flea Market in America" by Romantic Homes, Flea Market Decor, and Romantic Country magazines, the bi-annual Remnants of the Past Antique & Vintage Show attracts over 100 of the country's finest purveyors of vintage, handmade and antique items.  Originally held in San Luis Obispo, California, where the internationally renowned "shabby chic" designer Ashwell discovered Remnants of the Past, the show has continuously attracted exponentially greater number of visitors.  Last year, the two shows attracted more than 7,000 attendees.

The next Remnants of the Past show will feature Special Guest, Ki Nassauer, Editor-In-Chief of Flea Market Style magazine; founder of the national flea market directory, FleaQuest.com; and the popular bi-annual vintage show, Junk Bonanza. Nassauer will be on-hand to sign magazines on Saturday, June 28.

With the new venue, visitors will find augmented services, such as gourmet concessions (including a thoughtfully-composed wine list and a garden-to-glass herb cocktail bar), porter services, on-site UPS freight shipping, and a "man cave" boasting a wide screen TV and all the comforts of home.
