Renew Research Center Conducting Study on the Effects of Better Blood Flow
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., Aug. 25, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Renew Research, LLC announced that the Renew Research Center is conducting groundbreaking clinical research to see if the FDA-cleared ECP device may help patients with a variety of the most prevalent health concerns related to blood flow. Renew® ECP increases blood flow by gently squeezing blood from your lower body toward your heart. Inflatable cuffs, much like blood pressure cuffs, are wrapped around the calves, thighs and hips. Between heartbeats, the cuffs inflate and deflate in rapid succession from the calves up to the hips. These external pulses increase blood flow throughout the body.
The Renew Research Center is the only facility of its kind in Michigan.
"Renew® ECP is an FDA cleared device used to increase blood flow, and it is an excellent option for patients looking for a non-invasive, non-drug therapy," said Dr. Julie Finn, Principal Investigator of the Renew Research Center's study. "We are very excited to conduct a study to determine if Renew℠ Treatment has a positive effect on patients suffering from memory loss, diabetes, diabetic nerve pain, chronic pain and sexual dysfunction. We're also looking into the effect on improvement in overall wellbeing and enhancing athletic performance."
The Renew Research Center is staffed by trained medical professionals with expertise in providing Renew℠ Treatment. For more information about the Renew Research Center and the study, visit http://renewtherapy.com/ or call 248-987-7849.
