Renowned Cleantech Investor and OPower Founder Join Voltus Strategic Advisory Board
SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 28, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Voltus, Inc., a leading provider of cash-generating energy products, announced today that Raj Atluru and Alex Laskey have joined its Strategic Advisory Board.

As a Managing Director of Activate Capital, Mr. Atluru has been investing in the energy sector for more than 20 years. His primary area of interest is the intersection of technology and distributed energy resources. Prior to Activate, Raj was a co-founder of Silver Lake Kraftwerk, a growth equity fund focused on late-stage private companies in the energy and resource sectors. From 2000 until 2011, Raj led the cleantech practice at Draper Fisher Jurvetson, one of the premier early stage venture funds in Silicon Valley, where he co-founded DFJ Element, the largest fund ever raised for the cleantech sector at the time. DFJ was an early investor in notable companies including Tesla Motors, Solar City, and EnerNOC.
Mr. Laskey is the Founder and former President of Opower, now an Oracle company, an industry leading smart grid and energy efficiency software company that works with utilities to drive large-scale, verifiable reductions in energy usage through a combination of behavioral science, data analytics, and software expertise. Alex is a highly sought-after speaker at energy-related conferences throughout the country and abroad.
