Renowned Communications Veteran to Lead Gibraltar Associates' West Coast Office

Hope Boonshaft Brings World-Class Expertise in Entertainment, Technology to GA

WASHINGTON, April 25, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Gibraltar Associates (GA), one of the fastest-growing communications firms in the U.S., today announced the hire of Hope Boonshaft, who joins the firm as executive vice president and general manager of the firm's Los Angeles office.

Hope provides first-class senior leadership and strategic counsel to clients, bringing more than 20 years of experience in branding, corporate communications, crisis and issues management, litigation support, public affairs and consumer marketing expertise to the firm. She will also lead the firm's Entertainment and Technology practices.

Prior to joining GA, Hope led Hill & Knowlton's Los Angeles and Irvine offices as executive vice president and general manager, overseeing the firm's global entertainment practice. Her career client roster consists of the top names in corporate America. Previously, Hope spent 10 years at Sony Pictures Entertainment as executive vice president of external affairs. Early in her career, she spent time in the White House, serving in the Carter Administration as director of community relations.
