Renowned Professor Robert Gamache to Join XCube Research and Development as Advisory Board Member

Professor Gamache is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts receiving his baccalaureate in Chemistry and his graduate degrees in Physics and Chemistry. He is world renowned for his research in theoretical spectroscopy for planetary and exoplanet atmospheres. Gamache has over 39 years of experience developing algorithms dealing with large data sets and is considered an expert in algorithm development. His codes (~ 60 thousand lines) modeling the interaction of radiation with molecules in the collision process leading to the shapes of spectral lines are considered the state-of-the-art.
