Founded by Dr. Serafin Contreras, the concept of RenuevoDePlenitud started over 30 years ago while serving as Pastor en Venezuela and feeling that he not seeing results from his missionary work, contemplating leaving the ministry. Years later, God led the heart of Serafins' son, Gary Contreras to start an Internet ministry in Montreal, Canada. When Gary asked his father what the name should be for the new website, Dr. Contreras suggested it be called "Renuevo de Plenitud" which in essence means, the renewal of the fullness of one's life. It was here that the website was named RenuevoDePlenitud.com in 2003.
