BELFAST, Northern Ireland, March 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- RepKnight, developers of innovative solutions that monitor and analyse traffic on the web, has won a prestigious Irish Technology Leadership Group/Irish Times Technology Award, winning in the Mobile/Social Media/Web category. The awards recognise the most innovative technology companies on the island of Ireland, and were presented during the Irish Technology Leadership Group (ITLG) Innovation Summit, which was attended by over 800 top executives, entrepreneurs and venture capital investors operating in Silicon Valley.
Commenting on the achievement John Hartnett, President and Founder of the Irish Technology Leadership Group (ITLG), said: "I would like to congratulate RepKnight on winning the Mobile/Social Media/Web category at the fifth annual Irish Technology Leadership Group/Irish Times Technology Awards. The standard of competition in this category was extremely high indeed, with two other Northern Ireland-based technology companies also shortlisted. The company clearly has significant potential, and an endorsement of this nature clearly enhances the company's profile amongst possible investors."

ITLG shortlisted 20 companies from across the island of Ireland in five technology categories following an extensive review of approximately 100 companies at a series of pitch sessions held at the University of Ulster, Belfast and Dublin City University in October and November 2011.
