ResMed Announces EasyCare Online Compliance Management Solution

SAN DIEGO, April 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- ResMed Inc. (NYSE: RMD) today announced the release of its new patient compliance management solution, EasyCare Online. The innovative new tool aggregates usage and efficacy data from obstructive sleep apnea patients who use continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) treatment. The data can be used by sleep labs, home medical equipment and other health care providers involved in managing obstructive sleep apnea. The new tool employs a secure, cloud-based system consistent with the leading health information privacy and security standards, including those mandated by the latest federal regulations. A comprehensive data solution, EasyCare Online enables users to access all their CPAP patients' therapy data online, anywhere with an internet connection, whether the data is gathered wirelessly or by secure digital (SD) data card.
