Richmond Pharmacology Reached £100M in Cumulative Sales in 2013

Richmond Pharmacology Ltd (Richmond) is proud to announce that it has received approval for 10% of all Phase I clinical trials conducted in the UK, expanding its market share significantly in 2013.

Hosted by Health Research Authority (HRA), Richmond Pharmacology presented at the Advanced Phase I Training Course on Ethical Issues in Phase One Research, held in London on 31 July 2014. As active leaders of Phase I research in the UK, Richmond Pharmacologyâeuro(TM)s Principal Investigators Dr Jorg Taubel provided an understanding of UK Early Phase Research in a Global Context and Dr Ulrike Lorch presented on Complex Study Design, providing useful insight into progressive innovations to simplify the design and conduct of adaptive early phase protocols and the UKâeuro(TM)s competitive advantages in this area. Richmond achieved cumulative sales in excess of £100M in last year's annual accounts, demonstrating growth in its business for the second consecutive year.

An organisation owned and managed by medical doctors, its main clinical facilities have been based at Croydon University Hospital since 2005. Richmond has contributed a significant part of its earnings (7-10%) to its hosting organisations, as well as funding the design, conduct and publication of original clinical research.
