Three New Flavors of Fruit and Nut Bars Make Their Debut

ANAHEIM, Calif., March 5, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Rickland Orchards announces the launch of a new line of CLVR bars blended with high-quality ingredients such as super fruits, grains, seeds and nuts, sweetened with coconut sugar. CLVR bars are currently enrolled in both the Non-GMO Project Verified and Certified Gluten-Free programs, awaiting verification. Launching at Natural Products Expo West, the bars are rolling out to retailers nationwide and are available in three initial flavors: Blueberry Cranberry Chia, Strawberry Banana Quinoa and Pomegranate Mulberry Amaranth.

Rickland Orchards CLVR bars (pronounced "klev-er") are meant to give snackers a clever and "real" option—meaning a focus on smart eating and real ingredients such as fruits: blueberry, strawberry, raspberry, apricot; ancient grains: chia, quinoa, amaranth; nuts: cashews, almonds, brazil nuts; and a mix of other ingredients—everything from dried fruit to flax seeds.

The goal is to provide a gluten-free, dairy-free snack bar that is flavorfully certified vegan with low sodium and made with real coconut sugar.

Rickland Orchards CLVR Pomegranate Mulberry Amaranth Bars — Made with cashews, almonds, raisins, pumpkin seeds and raspberry and pomegranate bits combined with dried mulberries, amaranth, and whole grain brown rice
