MALVERN, Pa., Oct. 24, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Ricoh USA, Inc. today announced its latest black and white, multifunction printer (MFP) series geared toward helping enterprise employees do more in less time. At speeds of 65, 75 and 90 pages per minute, the new EPEAT® Gold rated* and ENERGY STAR® certified RICOH MP 6503/MP 7503/MP 9003 series smartly adapts to user needs, helping move information more quickly throughout high-volume environments, enhancing collaboration and streamlining work for all employees, including remote and mobile workers. This is the latest Ricoh product series to utilize Ricoh's Workstyle Innovation Technology, the evolution of office automation.

The world of work continues to change and businesses must evolve with these changes. This drive to evolve and become more productive has inspired Ricoh's Workstyle Innovation Technology – developed to empower employees to accomplish more in less time. An example of this is enabling users to share and receive information how and when they want to without delay. This is achieved thanks to the RICOH MP 6503/MP 7503/MP 9003 series intuitive 10.1"-wide Super VGA Smart Operation Panel that simplifies tasks, creates customized automated workflows, and enables seamless access to information in the cloud. Users can get work done more quickly and easily by taking advantage of the devices' ability to recognize common smartphone and tablet techniques, such as pinch-and-flick and drag-and-drop, to move swiftly from one job to the next. The newly enhanced RICOH Smart Device Connector app provides seamless integration between mobile devices and Ricoh devices, such as interactive whiteboards and projectors.

With the RICOH MP 6503/MP 7503/MP 9003 series, information can be shared quickly and easily, on paper or digitally. With a combination of workflow-streamlining capabilities, print and copy speeds up to 90 pages per minute and a Single Pass Document Feeder (SPDF) that quickly scans up to 120 single-sided and 220 double-sided images per minute, information gets where it needs to be, when it needs to be there, in the right format. High-quality, 1200 x 1200 dpi output helps ensure communication is as vibrant and effective as today's business demands. At the same time, a standard 4,300 paper capacity, expandable up to 8,300 sheets, minimizes delays for increased productivity.

Energy-conscious users will be able to use the convenient Eco-Friendly widget that allows users to check usage statistics. Furthermore, an integrated, innovative motion sensor detects an approaching user by sensing differences in temperature in the surrounding environment, enabling the device to recover from sleep mode in seconds, providing fast access to Smart Operation Panel functions.

The RICOH MP 6503/MP 7503/MP 9003 series also enables users to save up to 3,000 frequently used documents – such as forms that are historically preprinted and stored at cost. Keeping security in mind, the series comes equipped with advanced administrative controls to limit outputs for specific users or workgroups, along with user authentication controls to prevent unauthorized access and help ensure only intended recipients receive documents. Additionally, powerful encryption protects data on the 320 GB hard disk drive (HDD) and the DataOverwriteSecurity System (DOSS) destroys latent document images.

The RICOH MP 6503/MP 7503/MP 9003 series offers other features important to streamlining workflows, including optional XPS Direct Print and OCR. Collaboration is further enhanced by the optional USB Device Server feature, which enables users to connect to two networks simultaneously, further breaking down the silos keeping information from where it needs to be.
