Rightscorp Launches Its Popcorn Time Protection Service

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Sept. 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Rightscorp (OTCQB: RIHT), a leading provider of data and analytic services to support artists and owners of copyrighted property, announced today that it has launched its Popcorn Time Protection (PTP) service for content owners who want to prevent unauthorized streaming of their content via Popcorn Time. The service includes 365x24x7 monitoring of the Popcorn Time network and associated data collection and reporting services.

Popcorn Time aka "Netflix for pirates" is an illegal BitTorent-based software application that has become one of the most popular ways to illegally stream movies and TV shows.
