LOS ANGELES, July 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Rising Realty Partners (RRP), has expanded its team to keep pace with the continuing growth of their new real estate development firm. The new hires include Senior Vice President Matthew Ahrens and Vice President, Controller, Mimi Liu. Joining the asset management team are Vice President, Design & Interiors, Anna-Christine Rising and Senior Associate, Justin Weiss.

Ahrens will be directly responsible for RRP's acquisitions activities, including identifying potential acquisitions, presenting opportunities to capital partners, and performing investment analysis. Prior to joining RRP, Ahrens worked for Principal Real Estate Investors. Liu manages the accounting, reporting, budgeting and control systems to support the company's growth and investment strategies. Prior to joining RRP, Liu held a senior position at CIM Group. Ms. Rising brings over 24 years of design and development experience in the international hospitality industry as Corporate Director of Projects Development for Hirsch Bedner Associates / HBA International. Weiss brings five years of experience as the Associate Director of Economic Development for the Downtown Center Business Improvement District and Central City Association of Los Angeles.
Formed in 2011, RRP is a full-service real estate firm specializing in creating world-class commercial and industrial properties. The expansion of the RRP team comes on the heals of RRP's successful purchase of the PacMutual building at 6th and Olive, in downtown Los Angeles.
Current General Manager of the PacMutual Building, Frank Khan will stay on and join the RRP team. Kahn has over 25 years of commercial property management, leasing, and construction management experience, and over seven years of experience managing PacMutual.
RRP targeted growth strategy is to serve coastal communities throughout California and bring value add opportunities to office and industrial properties from San Diego, through Orange County and up to the Bay Area.
