With twenty-five years of experience working for a leading rating agency and prominent mortgage companies, Kathy offers tremendous insight into the full spectrum of mortgage related operational and risk management activities. In naming Kathy to this critical role, Kogler successfully added an accomplished industry leader who also has the detailed knowledge built from hands-on experience the mortgage field.

Prior to RiskSpan, Kathy was most recently Vice President Moody's Corporation, where she authored Moody's RMBS securitization enhancements designed to revive the private label RMBS market including requirements for additional data from originators to improve credit evaluation, enhanced due diligence to ensure data quality, stronger representations & warranties and enforcement mechanisms to align investor and issuer interests. The SEC and former Representative Frank and former Senator Dodd did, in part, use the proposals to design rules and regulations to prevent future collapses in RMBS market.
