Ritz-Carlton Residences, Miami Beach Unveils The #RitzRainbow
MIAMI, Nov. 29, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Lionheart Capital, developer of The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Miami Beach, is thrilled to announce its commission of artist Yvette Mattern's Global Rainbow during Art Basel Miami Beach.
Dubbed the #RitzRainbow, Mattern's large-scale, laser light beam installation will originate from Lionheart Capital's headquarters in the heart of Miami's Design District, casting a spectacular array of light across the city, and over Biscayne Bay from Monday, November 28th through Saturday, December 3rd.
When activated, the #RitzRainbow can be seen for as far as 25-miles – a gift to the city of Miami that spreads positivity and celebrates the beauty of light, art and the human spirit. ABOUT YVETTE MATTERN
Yvette Mattern is a visual artist who lives between New York and Berlin. She holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from Columbia University's Film Division. Mattern works mainly with video and film, which she fuses with elements of performance, public, art and sculpture.
