RiverPoint announces promotions and a new partnership as the firm is positioned for continued success

CINCINNATI, Oct. 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- RiverPoint Capital Management, one of the largest independent investment advisory firms in the Cincinnati area, today announced that three senior portfolio managers have been promoted to managing directors – Pamela Schmitt, Tony Roberts and Ryan Brown. The promotions fall on the heels of the firm's 10-year anniversary and are intended to position the firm for future success over the next 10 years and beyond.

Pamela Schmitt, a CFA Charterholder with 20 years of experience, leverages a background that includes banking, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and investment analysis. She maintains a particular focus on helping clients transition to financial independence following a divorce or the death of a spouse.

Tony Roberts, a CFA Charterholder with more than 10 years of investment management experience, brings expertise from his background in consulting, equity analysis and portfolio management. He specializes in portfolio construction and investment strategy design and implementation.

Ryan Brown has 12 years of experience and a background in asset allocation and portfolio customization. He works primarily with retirees and second-generation clients.

In addition to adding three managing directors, RiverPoint is also expanding the firm's resources and capabilities.
