Road Science, LLC Re-Files Patent Infringement Lawsuit Against Telfer Oil Companies

Company Also Acquires Sole Ownership of Key Patent

TULSA, Okla., April 6 /PRNewswire/ -- On July 21, 2009, Road Science, LLC filed a Complaint for Patent Infringement in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California against Telfer Oil Company d/b/a Windsor Fuel Company and its related entities in connection with their unauthorized use of Road Science's exclusive license to the patented NovaChip® paving process. In December 2009, the Court entered a Memorandum and Order requiring Road Science to join the owner of the NovaChip® patent, Colas S.A., and re-file its litigation against Telfer. In April 2010, Colas, S.A. assigned the NovaChip® patent to Road Science and Road Science is now the owner of such intellectual property. As directed by the Court, Road Science re-filed its Complaint against Telfer on April 1, 2010 alleging patent infringement of the NovaChip® process.
