Roambi Named a Box Assured App

SAN DIEGO, April 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Roambi, the leader in mobile analytics and BI, today announced its inclusion in the Box (NYSE:BOX) Assured Apps program. The program assesses the enterprise-readiness of mobile applications in Box's ecosystem. Roambi's flagship app Roambi Analytics™ has met a series of critical industry security and privacy requirements and is among those apps included.

Roambi first announced its integration with Box in March 2014. The integration enables customers to easily transform spreadsheets housed in Box into interactive, mobile data visualizations that stay dynamically connected. Each time Box Sync updates spreadsheet data, Roambi views are updated in real-time.

The Assured Apps program news was introduced in a keynote presentation at Box's premier developer conference, Box Dev, which took place in San Francisco and attracted more than 1,500 developers and entrepreneurs.

Program security and privacy requirements cover the mobile ecosystem, including protection of data to and from mobile devices, as well as the security of the app itself. Standards included in the program meet or exceed the following: SWASP Mobile Top 10, PCI DSS, Privacy Bill of Rights, EU Safe Harbor, California's Privacy on the Go guidelines, and HIPPA HITECH.
