Rob Machado and Kelly Slater to be Honored by Life Rolls On Foundation
Legendary surfers will be celebrated for their contributions to the paralysis community
LOS ANGELES, Sept. 21, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Life Rolls On Foundation today announced it will honor surfing legend Rob Machado and 11-time world champion surfer Kelly Slater at the organization's 9th annual Night by the Ocean gala. Held on Saturday, November 10 at The Ritz-Carlton Marina del Rey, Night by the Ocean is an evening to celebrate life for young people living with spinal cord injury. Welcoming elected officials and leaders from the worlds of business, sports, medicine and entertainment, previous Night by the Ocean celebrity guests have included Marcus Allen, Dave Annable, Odette Annable, Simon Baker, Jackson Brown, Brooke Burns, Scott Caan, Minnie Driver, Anna Faris, Nicky Hilton, Paris Hilton, Jason Lewis, Jason Mraz, Molly Sims and more.
Sal Masekela will serve as the evening's Master of Ceremonies while actor David Chokachi, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Gucci, Susan Chokachi and actress Vanessa Marano will provide leadership as Night by the Ocean Honorary Event Chairpersons.

Night by the Ocean is the single-largest fundraiser for Life Rolls On, which produces unique quality of life programs to improve the quality of life for young people affected by spinal cord injury.
