Robert P. Mulligan Named as President and CEO of Renaissance Insurance Company
INDIANAPOLIS, April 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Robert P. Mulligan has been named president and chief executive officer of Renaissance Life and Health Insurance Company of America and Renaissance Health Insurance Company of New York.

Mulligan was previously regional vice president, dental market solutions, for United Healthcare Specialty Benefits, where he held several senior-level positions. He has also previously worked for Guardian Life Insurance Company of America as its senior sales executive, large account dental sales, co-founded Optimum Health Inc., an alternative health care network and employee benefits company in Chicago and held market and network development positions for First Commonwealth, Inc.
Mulligan is a graduate of the State University of New York and has done post-graduate finance and accounting work at the University of Chicago. Mulligan, who assumed his position on Feb. 14, will be based in the Renaissance office in Indianapolis.
