Rock-It Cargo Launches Corporate Expedited Group with Acquisition of Core Logistics Corporation and B.E. Logistics

PHILADELPHIA and LOS ANGELES, Feb. 4, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- International logistics and freight forwarder, Rock-It Cargo announced that it has acquired certain assets of Silicon Valley based Core Logistics Corporation and Los Angeles based B. E. Logistics. The move allows Rock-It Cargo—already a leader in industries such as music touring, fine arts, sports, trade shows and industrial projects —to rapidly expand its service capabilities into Corporate Expedited Logistics.

As part of the deal, B.E. and Core Logistics will be integrated to form Rock-It Cargo's Corporate Expedited Group. This Group will handle domestic and international emergency and expedited time definite freight, including high-value, oversized shipments for the high-tech industry. Daniel Dvorsky, former President & CEO of B.E. Logistics, Inc. is now the Executive Vice President for the group.

Rock-It Cargo's Corporate Expedited Group will be marketed under the Core Logistics brand name. Daryl Miller, former CEO of Core Logistics Corporation, has been named Vice President and Division Head.
