RockMyRun Announces Stridebox Summer Throwback as Winner of "Battle of the Running Mixes"

SAN DIEGO, July 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Rock My World Inc., the company behind the RockMyRun smartphone application providing The Best Running Music in the World™, is proud to announce Stridebox as the winner of the "Battle of the Running Mixes" competition. Throughout the month of June, the Stridebox community went toe to toe with both RunKeeper and yurbuds users to see which fan-inspired mix would get downloaded the most for a chance to win a donation to the charity of the winning company's choice.

Stridebox, the monthly subscription box service for runners, worked with the RockMyRun DJs and their fans to create the winning "Summer Throwback" mix. Stridebox was competing for the winning donation of $1000 to the charity of their choice, Warfighter Sports and Disabled Sports USA.

To celebrate National Running Day in June, RockMyRun partnered with RunKeeper, Stridebox and yurbuds to create unique mixes, which consisted of fan favorite songs spun together by the talented RockMyRun DJs. RockMyRun monitored the close competition through the month and was both inspired and humbled to have seen such great participation across the board.
