Rose Paving Donates $10,000 to Olympia Fields Police Department

BRIDGEVIEW, Ill., April 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- As part of its corporate community relations program, Rose Paving Company, headquartered in Bridgeview, IL, plans to donate $10,000 to the police department of neighboring Olympia Fields. Alan Rose, CEO, will make an announcement regarding the donation during the Olympia Fields Village Board meeting on Monday, April 25, at 7p.m. In attendance will be members of the board, trustees, the village mayor, and chief of police.

The donation will support the Olympia Fields Police Department by providing two dashboard cameras for police squad vehicles patrolling during the midnight shift, when most arrests are made. These cameras record all police/perpetrator interaction including, but not limited to, sobriety tests. Footage from the cameras may be used in a court of law to aid in convictions.

This donation is of particular significance to me because my parents are 58-year residents of Olympia Fields. Drunk-driving occurrences have risen in the village and usage of these cameras will help curtail such incidences," says Alan Rose, CEO.
