CHANTILLY, Va., Oct. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- TASC, Inc., a leading provider of advanced systems engineering, integration and support services to the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense and other federal agencies, has named Rosemary Budd director of business development. In this new role, Budd will lead the development and implementation of TASC's integrated strategy to support the missions of government customers at Ft. Meade, including the National Security Agency, DISA, U.S. Cyber Command and related service divisions.

Budd has more than 30 years of experience in design, development, deployment and support of key mission systems. Her expertise covers a range of areas in TASC's portfolio, including cybersecurity, signals intelligence, information assurance and information technology. She joins TASC from Booz Allen Hamilton, where she served as executive advisor and principal for 10 years. Previously, Budd held positions at a number of communications companies, including L-3 Communications, CSSi and GTE Corporation.
Currently, Budd is president of the Ft. Meade Alliance and chairman of the Ft. Meade Alliance Executive Committee and Board of Directors. She also serves on the Maryland Military Installation Council, Ft. Meade Regional Growth Management Committee, Ft. Meade Marketing Partnership, the Ft. Meade Regional Ridesharing Coordination Center (RCC) Advisory Board and the BWI Business Partnership Strategic Vision Committee. Budd earned a B.S. and M.S. in computer science at the University of Maryland.
