Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan Schools go online for payment of all school fees and activity registration

ST. PAUL, Minn., June 4, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Parents of students in the Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan Public Schools can now pay almost all school-related fees online – and register for activities at the same time – using the FeePay™ Comprehensive Management System, which was developed for the district by a partnership that includes TIES, Arux and BankCard Services Worldwide.

FeePay™ is a first-of-its-kind system designed specifically to handle the thousands of payment and registration transactions that happen between parents and schools every day. Using a single family login, parents can pay school fees, add money to school meal accounts, register for activities and complete required forms for multiple children attending different schools in the district. Each activity or service is added to a single shopping cart for checkout, just like Amazon and other online shopping sites.

In the Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan Public Schools, the FeePay™ Comprehensive Management System offers online payment and paperless registration for:

• Student activities, including sports, fine arts, field trips and more
• Before- and after-school child care
• Fee-based transportation services
• School meal account deposits
• Community education classes and activities
• Scheduling public use of school facilities

Before the district implemented FeePay™ this year, parents  paid fees by check or cash and had to turn in hard-copy forms, or rely on their children to turn them in, as in many school districts.  The district wanted something different and worked with TIES to accomplish it.
