
Royal Cup Coffee's Howard Chapman Named National Automatic Merchandising Association Coffee Service Operator of the Year
BIRMINGHAM, Ala., July 26, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Birmingham business leader Howard Chapman, NCE, CCS, has been named Coffee Service Operator of the Year by the National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA). The award recognizes an individual and their company who has exhibited the highest level of integrity and dedication, excels in all areas of business and demonstrates exceptional leadership in the coffee service industry.

Chapman is Vice President and Division Manager, Office Beverage Division for Royal Cup Coffee in Birmingham where he was named Manager of the Year in 1995. He has served in the vending, coffee and foodservice industry for 16 years, and has also served as a law firm administrator. Chapman is a member of the International Facility Management Association in Atlanta, and was named Outstanding Associate Member in 1997. The Atlanta native holds a B.S. from Georgia State University and has competed and participated in various automobile racing events for 25 years, as both a car constructor and driver.
The 2011 NAMA Industry Awards were presented during the NAMA OneShow at a special ceremony hosted by Michigan State University Basketball Coach Tom Izzo. Immediately after the awards ceremony, members of the industry congratulated Chapman at a special reception that also recognized NAMA's 75th anniversary celebration.
