Royale Energy Hosts East Coast Energy Summit
SAN DIEGO, April 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Royale Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ: ROYL) presented its 3rd Energy Summit Conference last weekend in Washington, DC. The event featured several notable guest speakers including former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, John Bolton. At the Thursday March 31st kick-off reception, Mr. Bolton shared his insights on world news and the impact of Middle Eastern turmoil on the energy market. Invited guest attendees and the Royale Board of Directors also heard from former Virginia Governor George Allen, New York Times best-selling author Christopher Horner and the nation's most widely syndicated columnist, and Fox News analyst Cal Thomas.
On Friday morning the Royale management team gave an industry overview along with the company's current development projects. The meetings then moved to Capitol Hill where former Ambassador and Congressman Tony Hall (also a Royale Board member), led the group on a special private historical tour of the Capitol.
The conference continued with an exclusive luncheon at Mount Vernon, the home of George Washington. Governor George Allen, current candidate for U.S. Senate and Chairman of the American Energy Freedom Center, shared his views concerning abundant supplies of domestic energy and paths leading toward domestic energy solutions for independence. He also provided valuable perspective about the Founding Fathers and our country's history.
On Saturday morning nationally syndicated columnist and television panelist Cal Thomas gave an inspiring talk on his view of recapturing America's greatness. He was followed by Christopher Horner, Senior Fellow with the Competitive Enterprise Institute and author of numerous best-selling books including "Power Grab". Mr. Horner gave a fact-filled presentation of the perils of global warming and climate change policy initiatives being forced on the American economy.
Royale's Energy Summit Conferences began in 2009 in Santa Barbara, CA at the Reagan Ranch to highlight solutions to Americans need for energy independence. Since then the meetings have expanded to include locations such as Mount Vernon. Other future events are being planned across the nation including St Louis, MO and Monticello (home of Thomas Jefferson). The next Summit is scheduled for this September in California, including a return to the private Reagan Ranch, the 40th President's "Western Whitehouse".
