RPM Building Solutions Group Publishes First Sustainability Report Based On The Global Reporting Initiative

BEACHWOOD, Ohio, June 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The RPM Building Solutions Group (RPM BSG) has released its first Sustainability Report, which provides  a review of its international sustainability journey through Fiscal Year 2012, overall performance toward its nine sustainability bold goals, and plans for the future. 

Titled "The Difference," the RPM BSG's Sustainability Report is based on the world's leading sustainability reporting framework—the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI)—and is accessible online via www.rpmbsgsustainability.com. Among the accomplishments highlighted in the report are:

• Receiving Gold Level LEED® NC certification for its corporate headquarters retrofit;
• Achieving zero waste-to-landfill at six facilities;
• Reducing 2012 year-over-year energy consumption by 8 percent; and,
• Saving more than $2.2 million from 2011-2012 sustainability investments and initiatives.
