RTS Realtime Systems Sees Strong Demand for New NYSE Liffe U.S. Interest Rates

CHICAGO and NEW YORK, April 13, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- RTS Realtime Systems Group, a leading global trading solutions provider, announced today at the Futures Industry Association's Trading IT 2011 conference that the company has seen strong and growing demand for the access and functionality RTS is providing with the new interest rate products trading on NYSE Liffe U.S., the U.S. futures exchange of NYSE Euronext (NYX).  RTS has offered access to the products since their first day of trading in late March, in addition to its long-standing broad access to cash Treasury and fixed income products, as well as other NYSE Liffe U.S. products.

Late last month, NYSE Liffe U.S. launched Eurodollar and subsequently U.S. Treasury futures products in concert with the launch of NYPC, a new clearing joint venture between NYSE Euronext and The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC).  With the addition of the new product offering and NYPC's innovative cross-margining capability, RTS provides clients the ability to trade across the entire Eurodollar curve, handle complex transactions between U.S. Treasury and Eurodollar products, get in and out of cash markets and margin these efficiently.
