Rubidium Speech Processing Solutions Now Available for Cadence Tensilica HiFi Audio/Voice DSPs

SAN JOSE, Calif., Feb. 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Cadence Design Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: CDNS), a leader in global electronic design innovation, and Rubidium Ltd., a developer of low-resource embedded voice user interface technology, today announced that Rubidium's speech processing software solutions have been ported to the Cadence® Tensilica® HiFi Audio/Voice digital signal processing (DSP) intellectual property (IP) family and are scheduled be demonstrated at the Cadence booth in hall 6, stand 6L36 at Mobile World Congress on February 24-27, 2014. The suite of always-listening voice trigger, text-to-speech, speech recognition, and biometric speaker verification software from Rubidium is targeted at embedded applications in mobile, wireless, wearable, automotive and home appliance applications.
