Ruckus Wireless Achieves ISO 9001:2008 Certification

SUNNYVALE, Calif., June 5, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Ruckus Wireless, Inc. (NYSE: RKUS), a global supplier of advanced wireless systems for the rapidly expanding mobile Internet infrastructure market, announced today that it has been awarded ISO 9001:2008 certification from the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI), a member of the International Certification Network (IQNet), for the design, manufacture, distribution and service of Ruckus Smart Wi-Fi products and technologies for wireless LAN (WLAN) systems.

ISO, the International Organization for Standardization, is the world's largest developer of voluntary international standards. ISO international standards ensure that products and services are safe, reliable and of good quality. ISO has over 19,500 international standards covering almost all aspects of technology and business. ISO 9001:2008 specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organization:

• Needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and
