Ruder Finn Expands its Corporate Practice with Key Industry Hires Christine Dusek and Jon Vidar
NEW YORK, Dec. 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Ruder Finn, Inc., a leading independent global communications agency, today announced two new senior hires, Christine Dusek as Executive Vice President and Jon Vidar as Senior Vice President, to support the Corporate practice's dramatic growth and drive client program strategies.
The practice has built expertise in partnering with clients to communicate their approach to business transformation. This has become a key focus area, as companies across industries are evolving and changing their business models; leveraging new technologies; shifting product portfolios to more strategic offerings; and further increasing emphasis on innovation, power and global scale. Dusek and Vidar will lend their significant experience to the group, which is leading and building integrated communications campaigns that support companies on a corporate and C-suite thought leadership level.

Christine Dusek, Executive Vice President
Dusek is returning to Ruder Finn, and brings more than 15 years of corporate reputation, financial, crisis and issues management, and C-suite advisory experience to her role, most recently managing the global communications function at IMS Health, a $5 billion healthcare information and consulting company. Prior to that role, she served as EVP and Head of Issues and Crisis Communications at Ruder Finn. Dusek will drive impactful global corporate programs that span multiple industries and mediums, and she will develop the practice's exceptional talent, target new business opportunities and build leadership positions and depth to help clients meet their communications objectives at all stages of transformation.

Vidar's position and unique background working with global digital initiatives and non-profits will offer even greater opportunities for integrated campaigns across all of our work, while also supporting Ruder Finn Effect, a focus area dedicated to partnering with companies to generate broad awareness and engagement around causes. Prior to joining Ruder Finn, Vidar started The Tiziano Project, a non-profit that teaches social storytelling in underrepresented communities across the Middle East, the U.S., Europe and Asia. This work and that of his boutique creative agency, Uncharted Digital, received numerous recognitions from the Webby Awards, SXSW Interactive, and the Online News Association, as well as funding from the Knight Foundation, Google, JPMorgan Chase and the U.S. State Department.
