Ruder Finn Recognized with 14 Industry Awards in First Half of 2015
Successful Award Season Reflects Agency's Continued Growth and Creative Work
NEW YORK, July 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Ruder Finn, Inc., a leading independent global creative and communications agency, has been recognized with 24 coveted marketing and communications award nominations and 14 wins globally in the first half of 2015. These nominations and wins reflect the agency's continued focus on key growth areas for the agency – including innovation in healthcare, rapid expansion in China, business and brand transformations, and talent engagement – and come on the heels of a phenomenal year of growth for the agency, with nearly 17 percent global organic growth in 2014.
Most recently, Ruder Finn was the only US PR agency to be shortlisted and the only PR agency to receive an honor at the Cannes Lions Health Awards. Showcasing its hallmark heritage in creativity and leadership in healthcare innovation, the agency was recognized with a Bronze honor for its work with Novartis Vaccines on Protecting Our Tomorrows: Portraits of Meningococcal Disease awareness campaign with world-renowned photographer Anne Geddes. Anne traveled the world to photograph survivors of meningitis and their families to highlight the impact of the sudden and aggressive disease and the need for access to vaccination. The images were featured on a Tumblr page and in an eBook, as well as through an extensive global social and traditional media campaign.
The Cannes Lions Health Award came just hours after the agency was recognized with the prestigious honor of Greater China PR Consultancy of the Year, as well as two Bronze honors, at the PRWeek Asia Awards, underscoring Ruder Finn's continued emphasis on growth in the important region. In the past 12 months, Ruder Finn has substantially expanded in Greater China, with the acquisition of Kyodo Public Relations' China business and its operations in Beijing and Shanghai this past June, as well as the acquisition of SharpeLankester's Asia-Pacific portfolio in October 2014.
