The Company Welcomes Ray Nadeau as President of the Hotel and Spa Division
NEW YORK, March 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Russell Newman announced today that it has hired Raymond Nadeau as President of the company's Hotel and Spa Division. Ray will oversee the division's existing premium hotel and spa accounts and work to grow the business.

Raymond Nadeau is a senior strategic executive with over 30 years of experience in operations, brand building, product innovation, merchandising and customer development in domestic and international markets with renowned Fortune 500 companies including Berkshire Hathaway, VF Corporation, Sara Lee Corporation and Cadbury.
Most recently, Ray worked with SBH Intimates Division of The Moret Apparel Group, a privately owned sportswear, legwear and intimate apparel company. He was responsible for identifying new business opportunities in addition to developing the business strategies to leverage The Moret Group's creative design and product development expertise with their owned, licensed and direct-to-retail brands across all channels of distribution. Ray also led the customer management team in implementing partnership opportunities with Moret's key accounts and prospective retail partners.
Prior to Moret, Ray was the President & General Manager of Mass Channel Intimates for Vanity Fair Brands. Ray was in charge of the P&L on domestic mass channel business. He worked on such businesses as Vassarette, BestForm, Curvation and Illusion.
Ray also enjoyed a career with Sara Lee Corporation where he managed businesses in Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the US for Sara Lee Branded Apparel (now Hanes Brands Inc.), an international sportswear, legwear and intimates coalition of Sara Lee Corporation. As President of Sara Lee Intimates North America, Ray was ultimately responsible for driving the strategic vision of the intimates portfolio in the US and Canada for the Bali, Playtex, Wonderbra, Hanes, Barely there and Lovable brands. Ray was also President of Playtex Apparel US , a division of Sara Lee Intimates North America, where he developed profitable business strategies and re-launched the key department store brands TGIF, Secrets and Cross Your Heart. Ray enjoyed positions as General Manager Sara Lee Intimates, President of Sara Lee Intimates Australia and VP Marketing and Design during his tenure at Sara Lee.
Ray has experience managing multiple business portfolios within all major channels of trade and assessing the current retail and business climate to operate a highly successful organization. His expertise includes consumer packaged goods marketing, apparel product development and retail merchandising.
Ray holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. He is also a Certified Advertising Practitioner, as awarded by the Institute of Canadian Advertising at McGill University. Ray attended the Executive Development Program at the Indiana University Graduate School of Business and the VF corporate Leadership Institute. In addition, Ray is a Board Member of the Underfashion Club of New York. Ray was awarded the Vanity Fair Brands Innovation Award in 2007, the Wal-Mart Vendor of the Year award in 2002 and 2006, and the Sara Lee Corporate Presidents award in 2002.
