Ryan & Wetmore, PC Surge in Business Leads to New Hires

New Additions Also Spur Company Promotions

SILVER SPRING, Md., Jan. 12, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Ryan & Wetmore, PC, a full-service accounting and management consulting firm, has continued to see a surge in business. As a result, the company recently has increased its staff.

Over the past three months, Ryan & Wetmore has added several accountants and promoted within the company. In August, Shahrezad "Sherry" Chawla was hired as a Staff Accountant. She is a graduate of Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

Mark White, CPA, was promoted to Manager, Silver Spring office. He recently received his certification in public accounting and has been a member of the firm for 6 1/2 years. With an emphasis on the construction industry, White specializes in attest services.

The hiring trend continued with two more staff members, Jeremy A. Knott and Jonathan L. Shannon, joining on the third of this month. Jeremy, a graduate of Mount St. Mary's University in Emmitsburg, Maryland, is a Staff Accountant in the Frederick office. Jonathan, a graduate of Messiah College in Grantham Pennsylvania, is a Staff Accountant in the Silver Spring office.
