Ryan Silver, Silver Waves Media continues to unite NIL space, Maximize Student-Athletes Opportunities

EL SEGUNDO, Calif., Oct. 6, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The second annual Silver Waves Media Future of NIL Conference presented by Ryan Silver took place this weekend, Thursday October 2nd and Friday October 3rd at Wynn Las Vegas and Plaza Hotel Las Vegas. The event was hosted by Ryan Silver and Jimmy Sotos, one of most influential and impactful figures in NIL space with 1.5 million Tik Tok followers.

Thursday October 2nd participants had breakout sessions all day sponsored by some of the largest family offices in America. Thursday night was the conference official pre-party at SW Steakhouse/Wynn Lake of Dreams overlooking the Lake of Dreams. Select participants were invited to a private dinner at Yu and Mi Pan Asian and Sushi restaurant sponsored by Las Vegas restauranter Les Robinson

Friday October 3rd the conference took place at the Plaza Hotel in Las Vegas. Speakers included sports and business mogul Kip Kirkpatrick, UNLV Athletic Director Erick Harper, Creighton Athletic Director Marcus Blossom, Fordham Athletic Director Charles Guthrie, Murray State Athletic Director Nico Yanktko, IU Indy Athletic Director Luke Bosso. Collective/NIL GMS Chris Ogden Texas, JT Rogan San Diego, Hunter Baddour Tennessee and Jared Wangler also spoke. NIL super-agent Daniel Poneman spoke on the morning session and was one of best speakers of day. His panel was moderated by media mogul Aaron Torres Fox Sports and other media personalities who also spoke were Adam Finklestein and search firm head Glenn Sugiyama. UNLV head basketball coach Josh Pastner did a panel with Silver Waves Media president Ryan Silver. Missouri State Head Coach Cuonzo Martin closed out the conference as the final keynote speaker.
