Sadler's Smokehouse Features its Signature Brisket at the 31st American Royal Barbecue

Texas company is first Kansas City Barbeque Society Seal of Approval winner to participate in prestigious event.

KANSAS CITY, Mo., Oct. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Sadler's Smokehouse, Ltd., North America's leader in premium, pit-smoked meats, will offer barbecue enthusiasts free samples of its famous pit-smoked brisket at the 31st annual American Royal Barbecue on October 1 - 3.

The American Royal Barbecue is the opening event of the American Royal and the largest barbecue competition in the world. Located on more than 20 acres in Kansas City's historic Stockyards District, nearly 500 teams compete in four individual barbecue contests.

Sadler's Smokehouse Brisket recently earned the Kansas City Barbeque Society seal of approval, and the Texas company's participation in this weekend's event marks the first time a KCBS-approved vendor has sampled its meats at the prestigious BBQ competition.

Sadler's KCBS-approved brisket will be available to taste at the Sadler's booth located in space 15, northwest of Lot C. Guests can have their photo taken with the vintage Sadler's Smokehouse '56 Chevy truck. Guests will then have the opportunity to enter their photo in the Sadler's Smokehouse Facebook Fan of the Week contest. Winners will be selected weekly and will receive a free brisket and their photo will be featured on the Sadler's Facebook page.

All meats are carefully selected, trimmed, seasoned and pit-smoked over hickory and other natural hardwood for hours.
