Sagent Advisors Announces Managing Director Promotions

NEW YORK, Feb. 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Sagent Advisors Inc. announced today that Brent Cunningham and Chris Oliver have been promoted to the position of Managing Director at the firm.

Mr. Cunningham joined the firm at its inception in 2004 and serves as a senior banker in the firm's Industrial practice in New York, focusing on advising clients in the packaging, capital goods and multi-industry sectors. Prior to joining Sagent, he was at Bear Stearns & Co. Inc. He received his MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Rhode Island.

Mr. Oliver joined Sagent in 2009 and serves as a senior banker in the firm's Defense, Aerospace & Technology Services practice in Charlotte. Prior to joining Sagent, he was at Wachovia Securities. He received his MBA from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arkansas.
