Sakar Unveils New Sesame Street Audio, Electronics Accessories

DALLAS, Oct. 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- FALL TOY PREVIEW -- Audio and electronics leader Sakar International today announced it has inked a new licensing agreement with Sesame Workshop to produce a new line of audio and electronics accessories featuring the lovable characters from Sesame Street, the most popular and award-winning children's television program in the world. Sakar announced the new license and product line at the 2014 Toy Industry Association's Fall Toy Preview going on now through October 9 at the Dallas Market Center/World Trade Center.

A global icon that just launched its 45^th season, Sesame Street has earned an unprecedented 159 Emmy Awards and 10 Grammys for its engaging, educational programming.  Sesame Street has also become a digital powerhouse, with over 45 apps now available on five device/OS platforms and 1.3 billion YouTube video views and counting.

This ubiquitous growth makes Sakar's new character-themed products a perfect fit for the digital generation. The new line will include a range of headphones, earbuds and speakers, and phone and tablet cases, all compatible with any mobile device. Additional products, including karaoke machines, musical instruments and computer accessories, may also be added to the lineup.
