Saleen Automotive Chosen to Kick-Off Ford Mustang 50th Anniversary Celebrations

CORONA, Calif., April 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Saleen Automotive, Inc. (OTCQB: SLNN), (OTCBB: SLNN) (the "Company"), an American specialty manufacturer of high performance vehicles, technical performance parts, lifestyle accessories and apparel, is pleased to announce that the Company will kick-off the festivities set to commemorate the 50^th Anniversary of the creation of the legendary Ford Mustang.

On April 17, 2014, the Ford Mustang celebrates its 50th birthday and the nationwide celebrations are of epic proportions as enthusiasts and Mustang owners countdown to this landmark event. The largest official events are being held at two destinations, Las Vegas, NV and Charlotte, NC.

Kicking off the festivities is an organized cross-country tour and drive of about 550 participants, all of which are Mustangs. As the participants set to head out on this American journey from Southern California to Charlotte, NC they will make several stops and tours throughout their travels adding to the romance of Mustangs parading across the country.

The kick-off, and first stop, for this event is at the Saleen Automotive headquarters and campus in Corona, CA. For 30 years, Steve Saleen has been known for his contributions to the Mustang community and he will be opening his production facilities for tours and a meet-and-greet with Mr. Saleen and members of his elite design team.

Refreshments and snacks will be available and all public and media are encouraged to attend the beginning of the Ford Mustang 50^th Birthday celebrations and Mustangs Across America Anniversary Drive. Between 200-400 Mustangs are expected to participate and the festivities are set for April 9^th, 2014 from 6-9pm.

The following day, April 10^th at 7:45am a drivers meeting and final registration of all participants will be held and all cars will line up and head out on their journey.
