Salient Federal-SGIS Selected as one of the Prime Vendors on FBI IT IDIQ Contract

FAIRFAX, Va., Nov. 16, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Salient Federal Solutions, Inc. (Salient Federal) a leading provider of Federal IT and engineering solutions, today announced that Salient Federal-SGIS   has been selected as one of the prime vendors for the Federal Bureau of Investigation's largest ever Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) for Information Technology Services contract vehicle which carries a ceiling of approximately $30 billion over eight years.

Under the terms of the contract, selected companies can bid on IT services and supplies for the FBI or other offices within the Department of Justice.  The eight-year effort will provide a range of capabilities that ultimately will allow the FBI to successfully complete its national security mission.
