Salient Federal Solutions Awarded Contract for Technical Training Instructors Strategic Initiatives Supporting AETC

FAIRFAX, Va., July 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Salient Federal Solutions, Inc. (Salient), a leading provider of information technology, engineering, and intelligence analytic services to agencies in the intelligence, defense, homeland security, and federal civilian markets, today announced the award of a subcontract to Patch Plus Consulting for the Technical Training Instructor (TTI) program which supports the United States Air Force's Air Education and Training Command (AETC) and 82nd Training Wing at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas.

Under this contract, Salient will provide the Technical Training Instructor (TTI) program with technical training instructors as well as operational, administrative, management and supervisory personnel at five Air Force bases to Airmen including International Military Students. This two year award will include stand-up classroom and flight line instruction, curriculum development, and student management at five Air Force and Navy bases. Salient's Technical Training Instructors will assist in teaching twenty-eight different courses related to avionics and sensors; fighter aircraft maintenance; aircraft metals technology; aircraft structural maintenance; armament, egress, hydraulic and fuel systems; aerospace ground equipment and propulsion systems, aircraft electrical and environmental systems, nondestructive inspection, electronic principles; precision measurement; and fighter crew chief courses.
