Salient Federal Solutions Expands Presence in Tampa Market; Company to Host Open House to Spotlight Unique Special Operations Technology Solutions

The event, to signify the company's expanded presence in the Tampa market, will be held March 12, 2013, from  3:00 PM to 5:30 PM, located at 5100 West Lemon Street, Suite 114, Tampa, FL. 33602.

To facilitate discussions on customer's complex missions, the focus of this event is to bring government and industry leadership together to enhance local awareness of Salient's capabilities in areas such as; Responsive Talent Operations, Secure Satellite Communications, C4ISR Systems Integration, Agile Software Development, and Training and Simulation. There will also be a forum to elevate the awareness of IPv6.  Discussions will concentrate on IPv6 deployment and adoption approaches.  In addition, the Salient Assure6^TM deep packet inspection product will be demonstrated. The main attraction will be a demonstration of Salient's Tactical Coalition Command and Control Terminal (TC3T) coupled with the Voyager Mobility Solution. TC3T offers an initial entry, low cost, coalition-releasable, tactical terminal easily operated by virtually any international military partner. The TC3T capability runs the Voyager application, a Common Operational Picture (COP) situational awareness visual display of all soldier locations with the TC3T bridge terminal hub. The satellite connectivity offers the ability for Over-The-Air provisioning of other C4ISR applications such as collaborative tools, indirect fires, intelligence gathering, site exploitation, and signals intelligence, hosted Full Motion Video (FMV). This solution was recently demonstrated during the USSOCOM Tactical Network Testbed (TNT) 13-2 event at Avon Park, FL, and is uniquely designed to enhance U.S. special operations interoperability, safety, and mission effectiveness while conducting coalition operations with partner nations. 

In addition to the open house, Salient will be sponsoring the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) Tampa Bay breakfast event from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM March 12, at the Centre Club with guest speaker Colonel Stuart (Stu) Bradin of the US Special Operations Command, Expanding the Global SOF Network Operational Planning Team (EGSN OPT). Salient will also host the NDIA Tampa Bay chapter social that evening from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bad Monkey in Ybor City, FL.
