Salient Federal Solutions Was Awarded Three Mass Notification Systems Task Orders

FAIRFAX, Va., Dec. 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Salient Federal Solutions, Inc. (Salient), a leading provider of information technology and engineering services that include data analytics, agile development, mobility, training, and cyber security solutions to the intelligence, defense, homeland security, and federal civilian markets, today announced it has received awards for three task orders, totaling more than $2.2M, from the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic. These task orders are for the United States Marine Corps (USMC) Mass Notification Systems Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract.

Mass notification systems employ life safety technologies. This enables the Marine Corps leadership to notify their personnel, in a timely and effective manner, in the event of emergencies, exercises, or other circumstances as needed.

Under these task orders, Salient will be designing, procuring, delivering, installing, and upgrading indoor and outdoor emergency mass notification systems for 20 USMC sites.
